A 22-year-old Pennsylvania woman who was pinned inside her Jeep for two days after a crash continued to recover Thursday.

Rose Rice, of Delta, lost control of her car across the Maryland state line Sunday when she was on her way home from a Baltimore Ravens game, according to WBAL-TV in Baltimore.

The car tumbled down a steep embankment, trapping Rice, her mother Trish Demarest told the station.

A passer-by spotted Rice's Jeep on Tuesday at the bottom of the hill and notified authorities. Crews were able to rescue the young woman, who suffered a brain injury she had to have surgery for. For the most part, however, Rice was lucky.

"It was like winning the lottery," her mother told the station. "Life's lottery. We have won and it's priceless."
