Florida Message in Bottle Found Across the Atlantic

COCOA BEACH, Fla. — When 10-year-old Alex Moody dropped a message in a bottle in the Atlantic Ocean off Cocoa Beach last year, he didn't have much faith it would be found.
But it was, by a family on the other side of the Atlantic, in Cape Ferret, France. The European family recently sent Alex a postcard at his Orlando home saying they had discovered his message.
Alex, who says France is "cool," is planning to launch another bottle this month.
