Patrick Swayze is feeling good and responding well to treatment for pancreatic cancer, he told photographers on Sunday, according to the Daily Mail.

Arriving at the LAX airport in Los Angeles, the actor, 55, who looked stronger than in recent months, said that he is "a miracle, dude."

"I don't know why. I am juicing every day along with other treatments and all I can say is that it's working fine and really well," he said.

Swayze, who has been undergoing chemotherapy and the new Cyberknife radiotherapy treatment, is getting back to work, filming the upcoming A&E series "The Beast" in Chicago. He plays an unorthodox veteran FBI agent opposite Australian actor Travis Fimmel, who will star as his naive young partner.

The actor was diagnosed with cancer in March. Caught in its advanced stages, pancreatic cancer, which strikes about 30,000 people a year, has a less than 5 percent survival rate for five years. If caught early and treated aggressively, the five-year survival rate can go as high as 17 to 25 percent.
