Florida Preschool Teachers Find Pot in Toddler's Lunch Box

Friday, July 18, 2008

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. —  Port Charlotte preschool teachers were looking through a two-year-old student's lunch box for a snack and found drugs instead.

The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office says a teacher found plastic wrapper with a green leafy substance in the front zipper pouch on Thursday. The substance later tested positive for marijuana.

Authorities said the girl's parents are divorced and she had two lunch boxes, so they couldn't' immediately tell where the pot came from.
