Charlize Theron is known for her glamorous style, but the actress recently revealed to David Letterman that she may not always be so clean.

"I'm a tough girl and I can not shower for a week — I'm fine with that," the Oscar-winner, 35, told the talk-show host.

"I'm very spoiled and I don't take for granted how lucky I am to stay in fancy hotels and fly first class," said Theron. "So when I do have a little time off, I like to get down and dirty [by] camping or traveling to countries that don't have the luxuries.”

She went on to say that "there's a time and a place for everything — and sometimes there's a time for not showering."

The South African-born beauty stars in the film "Hancock" with Will Smith and Jason Bateman, set to be released July 2.
