Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler has checked into a drug rehabilitation clinic, according to TMZ.com.

Tyler checked into Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena, Calif., for substance-abuse treatment, TMZ.com reported.

An e-mail from FOXNews.com to Tyler's representative was not immediately returned Wednesday.

Dr. Drew Pinsky, the host of VH1's "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew," practices at Las Encinas Hospital, TMZ.com said.

Tyler is the father of actress Liv Tyler.
