JAMESTOWN, N.Y. Videotape from a security camera shows a 5-year-old upstate boy starting up his grandmother's pickup truck and driving it around a parking lot before crashing into a building.
Police in Jamestown, 60 miles south of Buffalo, say the boy could start the truck without a key because the ignition was broken. He hit a parked car twice before crossing a street, going through a fence, down a 12-foot embankment and into the corner of a brick building.
Police say the boy had just a minor arm injury.
A security camera on a building overlooking the parking lot shows the boy running to the truck, climbing inside and turning on the wipers and lights before driving in a circle, sideswiping the parked car and narrowly missing a moving vehicle.
No one has been charged.
