Report: Teenage Girl Used In Homicide Bombing; Iraqi Army Captain Killed

Iraqi militants apparently used a teenage girl as a homicide bomber, killing an Iraqi army captain and injuring four more soldiers.
According to an Iraqi Army spokesman the girl was strapped with explosives and detonated by remote control as she approached the captain in Youssifiyah, south of Baghdad, Sky News reported.
Retracting earlier claims that the girl was eight years old, the U.S. army now believes she was around 16, according to the paper.
The attack came as Prime Minister Nouri al Maliki jetted to Mosul to over see a major offensive against al Qaeda, the paper reported.
Local police have imposed a curfew in the Youssifiyah area as U.S. troops search for those involved in the bombing, according to Sky News.
