Monday, May 12, 2008

LOUISVILLE, Ky. —  Dozens of people are being treated for minor injuries after two school buses and a pickup truck collided in Louisville, according to police.

Police spokesman Phil Russell said at least 40 people were taken to hospitals Monday morning. Several students were among them.

Russell says a pickup pulled from a northbound emergency lane on Interstate 65 into the path of a school bus, and the two vehicles collided. Another school bus then rear-ended the first one.
