College Student Dead After Apparent Fall Over Balcony

MANHATTAN, Kan. — Authorities are investigating the death of a Kansas State University student who apparently fell over an apartment balcony railing.
University officials say campus police responded to the Jardine Apartment Complex on Saturday after getting a report that the student had fallen.
The apartments are on campus. Their buildings stand no more than three stories tall.
The student's name was not released. He was taken to Mercy Regional Health Center and then flown to a Wichita hospital, where he died.
