Florida police say a 24-year-old woman scammed nearly $5,000 from an adoption agency by faking her pregnancy, MyFOXOrlando reports.

Shawanda Butler was arrested Tuesday and charged with organized fraud. Marion County police said Butler falsified her pregnancy test by using her pregnant sister's urine, MyFOXOrlando reports.

Butler then allegedly signed up with Little Angels adoption agency, claiming she was three months pregnant and wanted to give her baby up for adoption.

Little Angels owner, Shannon McCracken, became suspicious of Butler after she continually canceled doctor’s appointments and refused to return agency phone calls.

When McCracken went to visit Butler’s Ocala, Fla., home she found the suspect had stuffed a pillow in her shirt, MyFOXOrlando reports.

Butler has been released from the Marion County jail on bond.
