Tiger Woods' Agent Denies He Bought $65M Hamptons Estate

Wednesday, March 19, 2008

Tiger Woods' agent has issued a statement denying a report in the New York Post that the golf star bought a $65 million estate in the Hamptons.

Mark Steinberg, Woods' agent, said in a statement that Woods did not buy the mansion on exclusive Gin Lane

But the Post stands by its story.

"We stand by our story,'' Col Allan, the Post's editor-in-chief, said Tuesday in a statement issued by the newspaper's publicist, Rubenstein Associates, Inc.

The report, which ran Tuesday on FOXNews.com, says Woods' estate is on nearly six gated acres with a 13,200-square-foot Colonial Revival main residence, a 7,500-square-foot guesthouse and a four-car garage with staff quarters.

The lush grounds feature an oversized seaside pool with spa, a tennis court, a lily pond and professionally groomed gardens.
