Compromising photos believed to be of Kristin Davis have re-surfaced on the Internet, TMZ.com reports — but the "Sex and the City" star's rep says they are not of the actress.

A representative for Davis told TMZ she's seen one of the pictures and it's "not a photo of Kristin Davis." She also shot down rumors of a sex tape featuring the actress.

The approximately 20 pictures were taken in 1992 by an ex-boyfriend of Davis, a source told TMZ.

The ex-boyfriend was mad at Davis, so he sold the photos to a third party. The third party got involved in a business venture with another man and that man pilfered the photos and they ended up online, the source said.
