COVINA, Calif. A parolee wanted by Covina police was found asleep in a stranger's attic.
Robert Rene Rasmussen allegedly ran from a car he was riding in when police stopped a car for a traffic violation Wednesday morning.
Hours later, a nearby resident telephoned police to report strange noises in his attic.
Officers found the 34-year-old Rasmussen asleep in the man's attic. Covina police Lt. John Curley says he was booked for investigation of trespassing and being a parolee at large.
