Report: Oscar-Winner Marion Cotillard Thinks 9/11 Was a Conspiracy

Sunday, March 02, 2008

Less than a week after Marion Cotillard picked up an Oscar for best actress, comments she made last year about the 9/11 attacks are coming back to haunt her.

In an interview with a French television program, the 32-year-old French actress questioned if the World Trade Center attacks were a conspiracy by the United States government.

"We see other towers of the same kind hit by planes. Are they burned? There was a tower, I believe it was in Spain, that burned for 24 hours. It never collapsed. None of these towers collapsed. And there in New York, in a few minutes, the whole thing collapsed, " she said in the interview, according to a New York Daily News report.

She also questioned whether a man really walked on the moon.

"I saw plenty of documentaries on it, and I really wondered," said Cotillard according to the report. "And in any case, I don't believe all they tell me, that's for sure."
