Young Man Shoots Himself on Seton Hall University Campus

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J A young man shot himself and then went to a dorm looking for a friend who is a student at Seton Hall University, according to an e-mail sent to students.
The male, who was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, was not a student at the school, according to the e-mail.
He shot himself in the side while in a vehicle parked on the campus, The Star-Ledger reported.
The shooting happened around 8:23 p.m. EST. The campus was in lockdown for several hours after the incident.
No student or anyone else on the campus was injured, according to the university.
Police have not recovered a weapon.
