Amber Alert Issued for Missing Kansas Toddler After Woman, Infant Are Found Shot to Death

Monday, February 04, 2008

KANSAS CITY, Kan. —  A nationwide search for a 3-year-old boy taken from a Kansas City, Kan., home has intensified after cops confirmed a sighting of the abduction suspect in Texas.

The toddler, Seth Guerrero, was reportedly taken from a home where a woman and her infant daughter were found shot to death, MyFOXKC.com reported.

Seth Guerrero is believed to be with his father, Andrew Anthony Guerrero, described by police as a person of interest. The Amber Alert Web site says the 23-year-old could be headed for Mexico.

Police Capt. Roger Golubski says Guerrero should be considered armed and dangerous, and that authorities have "grave concerns" for the boy's well-being. He said the FBI has joined the search.

Identities of the victims have not been released, but Kansas City media report the mother is the estranged wife of Guerrero and the 1-year-old girl had a different father.

Seth is a Hispanic male, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 3 feet tall and weighs 45 pounds.
