Report: Spice Girls Cut World Tour Short

Sunday, February 03, 2008

The pop group Spice Girls have cancelled their reunion tour after only two months of performances and flagging ticket sales, the London's Daily Mail reported.

Sources close to the group say the two Mels did not want to continue due to family commitments.

According to the Mail, Mel B misses her husband and children and has been flooded with U.S. offers after her success on the TV show, Dancing With Stars. Mel C reportedly agreed it was time to call it a day.

The group has performed in the U.K., Canada and the U.S. and will now skip performances in Australia, Argentina, and China. The Spice Girls will wrap up the reunion tour in Toronto on February 26, it was reported.
