Justin Chambers, who plays Dr. Alex Karev on "Grey's Anatomy," checked himself into the psychiatric hospital at UCLA Medical Center last week, the same place where Britney Spears was admitted on Thursday.

Chambers' publicist confirmed that the star checked in on Monday and checked out on Wednesday.

The rep, Danica Smith, said Chambers, 37, was "exhausted and suffers from a sleeping disorder. He went in voluntarily to get some help."
