Internet Film Recreates Collapsed I-35W Bridge in Lights

Tuesday, December 18, 2007

A short film is raising awareness about a disaster fund to help victims, rescuers and families affected by the Interstate 35W bridge collapse in Minneapolis, MyFOXTwinCities.com reports.

The 45-second online film, "Glow," recreates the fallen span in lights against Minneapolis' skyline. The phrase "Remember ... and Help" ends the film, with an urge to viewers to donate to the Minnesota Helps Bridge Disaster Fund.

“A community that lived through a great tragedy this year is blessed to have such an inspiring message of hope and remembrance,” Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak told MyFOXTwinCities.com. “I’m grateful to the collaborators of this video message, and I’ll be sending it as my e-mail holiday card this year.”
