Wednesday, December 12, 2007

Pope Benedict XVI is criticizing global warming preachers, saying any solutions to climate change must be based on firm evidence and not on dubious ideology, The Daily Mail reported.

The Pope's remarks on global warming will be made in his annual message for World Peace on Jan. 1.

He said the world needs to worry about the environment, but not to the point where there is more concern for the well-being of plants and animals than there is for humans, The Daily Mail reported.
