Report: Half the Seats Empty at Spice Girls' Las Vegas Show

Tuesday, December 11, 2007

Almost half of the seats were empty Monday night as the Spice Girls took to the stage for their second show at the Mandalay Arena in Las Vegas, the British Daily Mail reported.

Promoters had boasted of a sell-out reunion tour.

In more bad news for the Girls, their charity comeback single "Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)" is the worst-selling Children in Need song ever after it scraped into the UK midweek charts at No.10, the Daily Mail reported.

The Spice Girls — Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm — play their last show in Las Vegas on Tuesday night before heading to New York.
