NEW YORK —  Call him "Desperately Seeking" Paul McCartney.

Britain's News of the World newspaper has spotted and photographed the cute Beatle holding hands with Hollywood actress Rosanna Arquette, a dead ringer for his soon-to-be-ex-wife Heather Mills.

McCartney, 65, who is the middle of a bitter divorce from Mills, only recently was linked to trucking-company heiress Nancy Shevell, 47, a board member of New York City's Metropolitan Transportation Agency.

But Britain's News of the World newspaper caught Paul enjoying a romantic stroll with Arquette, 48, in England while Shevell recovered from an illness in New York.

The paper said that the Beatle and the "Pulp Fiction" actress had two intimate dates in just 24 hours, spending time at McCartney's house, cuddling, strolling and "gazing into each other's eyes."

Arquette is a three times-divorced mother of one, with three actor siblings. In 1990, she appeared in a nude pictorial in Playboy, but claims she didn't authorize the photos.

"I'm sorry, I don't want to talk about it," Shevell told the New York Post as she walked her dog outside in Manhattan on Sunday.
