LOS ANGELES —  Britney Spears may be set to give her new lawyer the ax after hiring him on Tuesday, IMDB.com reports.

Melvin Goldsman this week replaced Laura Wasser, who said the pop star was a "problem client," divorce lawyer Sorrell Trope said.
