Groom Killed in Crash on Day After Wedding

A Colorado newlywed was killed while loading wedding gifts into his new wife’s car Tuesday, the day after the couple was married.

Lee Alan Miller, 28, was pinned against a car after another vehicle driven by Connie Marie Petitt crashed into him while he was adding the gifts outside his new wife's mother's house. Miller died later that night, MyFoxColorado.com reported.

Petitt was taken to the hospital after suffering head and facial injuries during the crash. She may face charges after her release from the hospital, as police believe the woman may have been under the influence of prescription drugs at the time of the accident.
