Twice the insight and opinion: Click here to listen live to "Brian and the Judge" on FOX News Radio (weekdays, 9 a.m.-Noon ET).

Part of the reason I love doing the morning show is the sense that anything can happen. Today that anything was an attempted tackle of Pope Benedict XVI from a deranged onlooker. I am amazed that the pope did not even turn around to see what the commotion was about and I was shocked that he was not in enclosed glass.

As for as our guests, Robbie Knievel surprised me with word that his famous dad had a stroke yesterday at 68 and he is in a lot of trouble. Jerry Springer seemed cautious, but lively when he came in promote his new show, "America's Got Talent."

Mostly we debated the debates and tried to figure out who had the edge amongst the trio of Rudy-Mc-Romney. I thought McCain, Rudy and Mitt came out strong. Outside of Congressman Ron Paul, all seemed intent on fighting and winning the War in Iraq and it promises to be the No. 1 topic in the election and dominant in the president's final 20 months. Don't believe me? Well, then you did not watch the Democratic debate on Monday night. Not one candidate thought the war was worth fighting.

It's a crazy week for me as I head once again to another FOX hotbed: Dayton, Ohio and our Troop Salute puts down stakes at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. I will be signing my book — "It's How You Play the Game" — Thursday and signing at Books & Co. on Friday.

Most importantly I will be coming live from the base on Friday morning. If you are not going to Dayton and can't go to Hall of Heroes on Long Island in Roosevelt Field Saturday at 4 p.m., go to www.briankilmeade.com and I will personalize and send you a copy. Special thanks to all that came out in Sugarland, Texas to say hi and buy the book at Impact Player Partners and at Fort Hood.
