Man Accused of Videotaping Men in Monmouth University Locker Room

Wednesday, April 11, 2007

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. —  Monmouth University police are accusing a man of secretly videotaping men showering in the school's locker room.

University police say Anthony Amato placed the camera in a duffel bag that had a hole cut in it for the lens.

Police say at least one person's "intimate parts" were captured on tape.

The Roseland resident also is charged with trespassing because he's not a member of the school in West Long Branch.

The 43-year-old is held on 42-thousand, 500 dollars bail.
