Report: Pneumonia, Not Drugs, Killed Anna Nicole Smith

Wednesday, February 28, 2007

Pneumonia, not a drug overdose, killed Anna Nicole Smith, according to a report in the National Enquirer.

Preliminary tests have revealed that the former Playboy Playmate had a severe case of pneumonia and prescription drugs she was taking only exacerbated the symptoms, according to a story in the latest issue of the tabloid.

The Texas model had been previously hospitalized for pneumonia in the Bahamas, and it was this illness that ultimately killed her, the Enquirer reports.
