BALI, Indonesia  —  An Indonesian court sentenced an Islamic militant to 3 1/2 years in jail on Wednesday for harboring Southeast Asia's most wanted terror suspect.

Imam Buchori, 36, was found guilty by the South Jakarta District Court of violating the country's anti-terror law by sheltering Noordin Top and letting him use his motorbike between 2004 and 2005.

"He knowingly harbored and help the most wanted terrorist Noordin Top," Judge Sutjahjo Padmo told the court.

Noordin is believed to be a key leader of the Al Qaeda-linked militant group Jemaah Islamiyah, blamed for a string of deadly bombings on Western targets in Indonesia, including the 2002 and 2005 bombings on Bali island that together killed 222 people.

The country has arrested and convicted more than 200 terrorists in the last four years, but Noordin remains at large.
