RIM Wins Round in British BlackBerry Battle

NEW YORK — Research In Motion (RIMM) said on Thursday the English High Court has decided that all patent claims against it in relation to certain Blackberry products in the UK by litigant InPro are invalid.
Research In Motion said it had begun trying to nullify the suit against it in England in relation to a patent owned by InPro, a patent holding firm based in Luxembourg that had previously asserted the equivalent patent in Germany.
