Taking Risks

Monday, January 23, 2006

Carmen bin Ladin, the former sister-in-law of Usama bin Laden, appeared on "Heartland" last Saturday. Her appearance should inspire all of us to stand for something.

At great personal risk, she has spoken out against radical Islam. Her goal is to educate the West about the threat posed by those who are followers of Usama bin Laden. She believes her actions are an example to her children — that one must act on deeply held principles. It's a lesson that all of us can learn.

Watch "Heartland" Saturdays at 8 p.m. ET!
