Police Search for Missing Student

RICHMOND, Va. — The search for a missing Virginia Commonwealth University (search) student has become a criminal investigation.
Richmond Police Chief Rodney Monroe said today that a task force led by his department is investigating the disappearance of 17-year-old Taylor Behl (search) of Vienna. She was last seen leaving her dorm room the night of September 5th.
Monroe says there still aren't any leads or evidence of foul play.
Monroe says the eleven-member task force is conducting interviews and checking into information resulting from growing media coverage of Behl's disappearance. Monroe says the group consists of officers from the Richmond and state police.
