'Amazing Race: Family Edition' Kicks Off in Sept.

New York City sanitation worker Tony Paolo and his suburban New York brood are among the families competing in "The Amazing Race: Family Edition," (search) kicking off next month on CBS.

This time around, the Emmy-winning reality show will feature four members from each family traveling the world and competing against other families for the $1 million grand prize.

Paolo, 52, will compete with sons DJ, 24, and Brian, 16, and wife Marion.

The Paolos will compete against nine other families, including a brothers-sisters combo from Buffalo; a dad and his three daughters from Illinois; a dad, stepmom and their kids; and a team of four sisters.

The oldest family member competing on the show is 57, while the youngest competitor is 8-year-old Austin Black (from Woodbridge, Va.).

"The Amazing Race: Family Edition" premieres Sept. 27 (9-11 p.m. EDT).
