Jonathan Hunt has served as a New York-based correspondent for FOX News Channel (FNC) since 2004. He joined the network as a freelance international correspondent in 2002.

Most recently, Hunt has led FNC’s coverage of the United Nations Oil-for-Food scandal. In 2003, he covered the war in Iraq from Kuwait and Baghdad and was the first FNC reporter to travel into Fallujah. Shortly after joining the network, he traveled to Afghanistan to cover the aftermath of the fall of the Taliban.
Prior to joining FNC, Hunt was the European Bureau Chief for Sky News where he covered the riots at the 2001 G8 Summit in Italy and the eruption of Mt. Etna in Cicily. From 1995 to 2000, Hunt served as the US Bureau Chief and a senior correspondent for Sky News in Washington, D.C. During that time, Hunt covered the Oklahoma City bombing, the O.J. Simpson trial and verdict, the Monica Lewinsky scandal, and President Clinton’s impeachment. Hunt also anchored Sky News’ coverage of the 1996 Presidential election from Washington, D.C. and the 2000 election from Austin, Texas.
As a Sky News correspondent, Hunt also reported on the Barcelona Olympics in 1992, the Irish Republican Army’s ongoing aggression in Northern Ireland, and several British elections. He has made two documentaries in India for Sky News and has interviewed every British Prime Minister since Margaret Thatcher.
Originally from Somerset, England, Hunt played competitive soccer and rugby as a teenager. He currently lives in New York with his wife and daughter.
