In three days of asking the Supreme Court nominee more than 700 questions, Democrats are trying a two-pronged approach to discredit Judge Samuel Alito, arguing that on the one hand, he has been too vague to convince them he is a moderate conservative, and on the other hand, that character witnesses are unreliable because the judges who testified may someday have their rulings challenged in the high court.

But, after a week of hearings, did Democrats uncover anything that could prevent Alito from sitting on the Supreme Court? We'll get a fair and balanced debate from Senate Judiciary Committee members Sens. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Charles Schumer, D-N.Y.
