LOS ANGELES —  "Desperate Housewives (search)" star Eva Longoria (search) was snubbed in yesterday's Primetime Emmy nominations (search) - the second time she's been ignored for a major award honoring TV's hottest show.

Longoria, who plays sultry Gabrielle, was the only major "Housewife" not to get an Emmy nod as Best Actress in a Comedy.

It's a repeat of Longoria's travails last year, when she was the only "Desperate" star not to receive a Golden Globe (search) nomination.
