Robert Blake's Civil Trial Rescheduled

Friday, July 01, 2005

LOS ANGELES —  A judge on Thursday delayed the trial in a wrongful-death lawsuit filed against Robert Blake (search) by the children of the actor's slain wife.

The trial date was moved from July 5 to Aug. 29 by Superior Court Judge David Schacter after the plaintiffs' attorney said he had a scheduling conflict.

The lawyer, Eric Dubin, represents Bonny Lee Bakley's (search) four children suing Blake.

Blake, 71, was acquitted in March of charges of murder and solicitation of murder in Bakley's shooting death.
