GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — An explosion rocked a refugee camp in the Gaza Strip (search) on Thursday, witnesses said. There were no details on the cause of the blast or whether anyone was injured.
The Israeli army was investigating the report.
The blast occurred as Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas (search) was in Gaza City (search) for talks with militants about restoring a cease-fire with Israel following a recent flare-up in fighting.
