NEW YORK —  The Donald thought it was a cross between "Desperate Housewives" and "Dynasty."

And overall, he was flattered by "Trump Unauthorized (search)," the two-hour ABC movie about his life that aired Tuesday night.

He called it a "great compliment" and he certainly doesn't intend to sue.

After ABC announced plans to air the biopic, Trump warned that if he thought it was inaccurate, "I'll sue their a--es off."

But after watching it with his wife, Melania, the real-estate mogul pronounced himself pleased.

"Having a two-hour movie on network television while you're still living is sort of wild," he told The Post.

"You're supposed to be gone for that to happen."

Melania said, "I think it was fun to watch, but it was nothing new. His life is an open book and there were no surprises."

The film's script drew mainly from an unauthorized book about the family's real-estate dynasty, "The Trumps: Three Generations That Built an Empire (search)," by Gwenda Blair.

Trump said some of the facts were "totally wrong" — especially the character of Peter Wennik, his right-hand man in the movie.

There never was a Wennik, he said.

Still, Trump liked actor Justin Louis (search), who had the starring role, saying, "I think he did a very excellent job. I just really wish he were my height."
