Thursday, January 27, 2005

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —  A year after her Super Bowl wardrobe "malfunction" shocked the world, Janet Jackson (search) is headed to another Super Bowl event.

Attorney Willie Gary announced that Jackson will attend his celebrity scholarship party in Jacksonville on Feb. 5, the eve of the Super Bowl (search). The Black Family Channel is sponsoring the party.

The game was seen by 90 million viewers and CBS was fined a record $550,000 by the Federal Communications Commission (search).

Gary did not return phone calls seeking comment on Jackson's appearance. The event is open to the public by pre-sale tickets only.
