Trump's Melania the New Levi's Girl

Wednesday, November 24, 2004

Doanld Trump's (search) fiancee, Melania Knauss (search), says her appearance on last week's episode of "The Apprentice" (search) has landed her a job modeling Levi's jeans.

"I was on 'The Apprentice' and they saw me and they asked me if I would do the advertising for them and I said, of course," Knauss said on yesterday's episode of "The View."

During last week's "Apprentice," the teams were instructed to create a Levi's catalogue.

When host Donald Trump showed up to judge their efforts, he brought Knauss into the room with him — and she modeled the Levi's jeans she was wearing while company executives told her how fabulous she looked.

That, in turn, led to Levi's signing Knauss as a spokesmodel. She made her debut Monday at the Levi's store in SoHo.

"I was signing pictures and had the personal appearance," Knauss told "The View" co-hosts. "It was a lot of fans. They love the show, and they are very excited."
