WASHINGTON —  Liberals and conservatives in Congress are doing battle over radio programming for military personnel overseas.

Critics of the Pentagon's American Forces Radio and Television Service (search) say it needs more balanced programming.

They point to the Monday through Friday broadcast of the first hour of conservative Rush Limbaugh's (search) talk radio show.

Democratic Senator Tom Harkin (search) has slipped a provision into the defense bill requesting that the service present "all sides of important public questions."
