Steve Doocy co-anchors FOX News Channel's top-rated morning show Fox and Friends.

For a number of years, Steve was the live Times Square reporter on Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve.

Prior to FOX News, Doocy anchored the morning news on CBS-TV's flagship station WCBS-TV in New York City. He was also the host of NBC's House Party wtih Steve Doocy, NBC cable's Wake Up America, and FOX's Not Just News. Before network television he was the longtime feature reporter at WRC-TV in Washington, DC. His earliest broadcasting jobs included reporter and anchor positions in Kansas City, Wichita, Topeka and Des Moines.

Throughout his career, Doocy has received 11 local Emmy Awards for feature coverage, the Associated Press’ Feature Report of the Year Award and the Headliner Award from Sigma Delta Chi, the Society of Professional Journalists. Steve has served as the national spokesman for the March of Dimes’ “Walk America” campaign, and has helped raise money for homeless shelters and food pantries.

A graduate of the William Allen White School of Journalism at the University of Kansas, Doocy is also the New York Times bestselling author of "The Mr. and Mrs. Happy Handbook" published by William Morrow Books.
