Greg Palkot serves as foreign correspondent for FOX News Channel (FNC) based in London. Most recently, Palkot reported live from the crisis in the Middle East. He also covered the sickness and death of Pope John Paul from Vatican City. He also provided extensive on-site coverage in the wake of the South-East Asia tsunami tragedy from Banda Aceh, Indonesia.

Palkot has also been an integral part of FNC’s continued coverage of the War on Terror where he was embedded with troops in Afghanistan. He has reported on an array of international stories on the war on terror involving Usama bin Laden and Al Qaeda. Palkot reported throughout Operation Iraqi Freedom and was embedded with troops at the scene of Saddam Hussein’s capture in December 2003. During his tenure at FNC, Palkot has reported on breaking news ranging from the Mideast crisis and the war in Kosovo, to the death of Princess Diana and the Concorde plane crash. Aside from his work for FNC, Palkot has covered international news stories for over two decades, including the war in Bosnia, the fall of the Berlin Wall, unrest in Northern Ireland, and upheaval in the former Soviet Union. In the past few years, he has reported from Baghdad, Amman, Jordan and Kabul.

Prior to joining FNC, Palkot was anchor, reporter, producer and writer both abroad and domestically for programs airing on PBS, Financial News Network (now CNBC), WABC and CBS. He was also anchor for PBS-TV’s "European Journal," seen worldwide via Deutsche Welle TV.

Palkot has earned several awards throughout his career including Emmy Awards for Best Feature, Best Reporting and Best News Coverage. He has also been recognized with an Associated Press Award for Best Reporting, a United Press International Award for Best Investigative Reporting and multiple International Film and Television Awards.

A Cum Laude graduate of Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts, Palkot is a native New Yorker and speaks French, German and Italian.
