Yankees right-hander Freddy Garcia will miss his scheduled start Sunday in the series finale against Tampa Bay because of a cut on his finger.
New York manager Joe Girardi announced the injury after Saturday's loss and said A.J. Burnett will get the start Sunday instead.
Garcia is 10-7 with a 3.16 earned run average in his first season with the Yankees. He is 143-94 in 13 seasons with the Mariners, White Sox, Phillies, Tigers and Yankees.
