According to Las Vegas, the Chargers will start their season with an early home win.
They've opened as a three-point favorite against the visiting Detroit Lions on Sunday at Qualcomm Stadium. That means on a neutral field, the two teams would be a pick 'em in the eyes of oddsmakers.
San Diego is 31-24 in home openers all time. However, they haven't been kind to bettors of late -- they're 2-8 against the spread dating back to 2014.
The game figures to be a shootout with two marquee quarterbacks. Perhaps the over is a wiser play.
