Tulane's Cairo Santos has captured the Lou Groza Award, given to the nation's top place-kicker.
Santos was 21-for-21 on field goal attempts this season. He led the nation with 12 field goals of 40-plus yards, including a pair from beyond 50, and set the school record with a 57-yarder against Rice on Nov. 3.
The junior beat out Dustin Hopkins of Florida State and Caleb Sturgis of Florida.
