Description: Trail Blazers backup PF Jared Jeffries is questionable for Tuesday's game against Dallas with a sore right hip.
Insight: Jeffries hasn't received enough playing time to be much of a factor in fantasy this season, getting just nine minutes-per-game and averaging 1.2 ppg.

Description: Trail Blazers forward Jared Jeffries injured his nose and had to come out of the game Monday night against the Pistons.
Insight: He won't be returning. Jeffries hasn't received enough playing time to be much of a factor in fantasy this season (1.2 ppg heading into tonight's action).

Description: Jared Jeffries, still bothered by the knee injury that caused him to miss eight games in a row at the end of March, won't be available for the Knicks Sunday against the Hawks.
Insight: Jeffries should be ready in time for the playoffs but there are just too many good players on the Knicks roster standing in his way for him to have any real fantasy value.

4/6/2012 6:33:00 PM
Description: Jared Jeffries expects to return to game action Sunday against the Bulls. Jeffries has been inactive since March 21st because of a knee injury.
Insight: Amare Stoudemire's injury could have opened the door for more playing time for Jeffries but Carmelo Anthony's solid play since moving to power forward can put that notion to rest. Jeffries' season-high is just 13 points so his ceiling was never high to begin with.

3/26/2012 4:28:00 PM
Description: Jared Jeffries has inflammation in his right knee and will miss at least the next two weeks.
Insight: Not a great time for the Knicks big men (Jeffries and Stoudemire) to get hurt. Josh Harrellson (4.6 ppg, 4.2 rpg) will have some mighty big shoes to fill playing down the stretch for New York.

3/24/2012 8:00:00 PM
Description: Jared Jeffries's knee is acting up again. He left the game Wednesday night in Philadelphia and will sit out the next two weeks due to an inflammation to the right knee.
Insight: This isn't the first time Jeffries has dealt with this knee issue. He missed four games earlier this month with a similar ailment. Jeffries isn't producing fantasy-worthy numbers, but he does contribute a little bit to all categories.

Description: Jared Jeffries's knee is acting up again. He left the game Wednesday night in Philadelphia and is set to have an MRI when he returns to New York. He won't play Friday night against Toronto.
Insight: This isn't the first time Jeffries has dealt with this knee issue. He missed four games earlier this month with a similar ailment. Josh Harrellson should be next in line at power forward with Jeffries out.

4/19/2011 10:41:00 PM
Description: Jared Jeffries had one of his best games since his days at Indiana with 10 points, six boards, and two blocks in the loss.
Insight: Jeffries is an easy target with his ugly free throw shooting and horrible stats. However, he was able to play solid defense on Garnett and seemed to have a good idea where the ball was going to be when it came off the rim. He battled and got all the hustle points his lack of ability could exert. Having said that, it is not going to be enough to topple the Celtics.

3/18/2011 3:49:00 AM
Description: Jared Jeffries got some burn on Thursday with 31 minutes that yielded a line of five points, six boards, two steals, and a block in the win.
Insight: Say what you want about Double-J, but he is producing defensive stats on a consistent basis. He is a center-eligible version of Shane Battier and deep leagues could do worse at the five.

3/3/2011 12:57:00 AM
Description: Jared Jeffries logged 24 minutes in his first game with the Knicks on Wednesday. He didn't do much with no points and only six boards.
Insight: The minutes are the important thing. There should be better options in just about every league, but J-squared could gain some steam once he gets his legs back and learns how to play with his new team.
