Notes:
2008: Selected by Miami in 1st round (2nd overall) of the NBA Draft...2010: Traded to Minnesota for two 2nd round draft picks, July 12th...2012: Signed with Phoenix to a three-year deal worth $18 million, July 20th.

One of the most talented freshmen to enter the draft in quite some time, Beasley was a candidate for nearly every national player of the year honor available, becoming a finalist for the Naismith, Oscar Robertson and Wooden Awards before declaring for the draft...Named National Freshman of the Year by several publications and was one of just two unanimous choices for First Team All-American by the AP...Beasley was named Big 12 Player and Freshman of the Year by the AP and the league`s coaches after he became just the third freshman in NCAA history to lead the nation in rebounding with his 12.4 rpg...Broke the NCAA freshman record for double-doubles in a season with 28, logging four in the first half of games as he finished with a scoring average of 26.2 ppg...Beasley, who led the nation with three 40-point games and 13 30-point games, set a total of 30 K-State career, season and freshman records on his way to being a unanimous selection for All-Big 12 honors...A dominant player in the paint, Beasley set the stage for a huge 2007-08 by posting a career-high 24 rebounds and adding 32 points in his very first game versus Sacramento State...Shot an impressive 53.2 percent from the field and was successful 77.4 percent of the time at the charity stripe...Despite being a physical presence who was always in search of the ball at both ends of the floor, perhaps the most impressive stat for Beasley this past season was that he fouled out of just one game, yet still managed to come up with 30 points and 14 rebounds versus Pittsburg State...Had just one game in which he failed to score in double figures, that being a five-point effort versus Xavier...For someone who controlled the ball as much as he did, perhaps the only knock on Beasley is that he averaged just over one assist per game.
