Description: Power forward Anthony Randolph stepped in after Kenneth Faried went down with an ankle injury Sunday and had 18 points, six rebounds, two steals and one block in 20 minutes.
Insight: Randolph showed flashes of athletic brilliance at times when he was with the Warriors, but he has never developed into a full-time NBA rotation player. He's still just 23 but has been with four organizations already. If Faried misses the final two games, Randolph could get the starts.

7/20/2012 9:15:00 PM
Description: Power forward Anthony Randolph has agreed to a three-year $6 million contract with the Denver Nuggets
Insight: Randolph (7.4 ppg, 3.6 rpg in 34 games for the Timberwolves last season) put up 14.3 ppg during an eight-game stretch at the end of the season after Kevin Love suffered a concussion, but other than that, he didn't accomplish anything truly fantasy-worthy in 2011-12. He might be slightly more useful in Denver but our guess is that Kenneth Faried (10.2 ppg, 7.7 rpg) and Al Harrington (when he's healthy again) will still see the majority of the playing time at power forward next season.

4/13/2011 11:14:00 PM
Description: Anthony Randolph finished strong with 23 points on 11-of-17 shooting.
Insight: So you haven't fallen victim to the Anthony Randolph hype yet? Well, you're not missing and in a word: DON'T!!!

4/5/2011 8:48:00 PM
Description: Anthony Randolph had one of those random good games with 20 points, 10 boards, and two blocks in 30 minutes.
Insight: Nothing says pick up a guy quite like a 20-10. Randolph is not a must add for falling off a cliff a bit last week, but he should be on the radar at the very least.

4/3/2011 12:47:00 AM
Description: Anthony Randolph was terrible on Saturday with one point and three boards in nine minutes.
Insight: This guy simply cannot be trusted. Leave him on waivers for the rest of the season and spare yourself some headaches and usage of foul language.

3/26/2011 12:31:00 AM
Description: Anthony Randolph followed his career-high game with another beauty of 24 points, 15 boards, two blocks, and a steal in 37 minutes of action.
Insight: Well if for some reason he wasn't picked up last night, then go ahead and make the move for him now. Kevin Love's season is in jeopardy and Randolph looks as locked in as ever. How odd is it that both Marcus Thornton and Randolph are two LSU players that were considered as busts a little over a month ago are both doing work?

2/20/2011 5:15:00 PM
Description: Anthony Randolph is very close to being sent to Minnesota for a first-round pick. SOURCE: Newsday
Insight: Nothing new here. Randolph will be the first big off the bench to spell Kevin Love and Darko Milicic. There's not a lot of upside here and Troy Murphy makes for a better stash du jour.

1/22/2011 4:37:00 PM
Description: The Blazers are reportedly interested in going after Anthony Randolph. SOURCE: SLAM
Insight: This should not come as a surprise at all. Of all the potential playoff teams, the Blazers are in need of a four or five more than any other. He doesn't play at all, so only deep league owners that can afford to stash him are the only current suitors.

12/17/2010 12:05:00 PM
Description: Anthony Randolph finds himself in familiar territory once again, on the trade block. SOURCE: New York Post
Insight: He and Troy Murphy are easily the biggest wasted draft picks that were taken in the first seven rounds in most leagues. He has the talent to contribute and a trade could make him worthy of an add in the right situation.

12/11/2010 10:03:00 AM
Description: The Knicks are reportedly interested in dealing Anthony Randolph. SOURCE: New York Daily News
Insight: Even though they wouldn't have been able to sign him, that David Lee trade did not help them. The word on the street is that the Rockets could be willing to offer a first-round pick. Randolph is barely playing this year and a change of scenery could do him some good.

11/4/2010 11:18:00 PM
Description: Anthony Randolph played just under three minutes and only registered one board in his season debut.
Insight: It's really tough to endorse a guy after a line like this, but the upside is there for Randolph. He is great in the defensive categories and will be a must-start if he can get 30 minutes per game. The Knicks have nobody outside of Amare playing well on the blocks, so Randolph could easily become the guy. His owners should give him another week before making a hasty decision

11/2/2010 1:04:00 PM
Description: Anthony Randolph is expected to play imn Tuesday's game against the Magic. SOURCE: Newsday
Insight: He was suppose to miss two weeks and it seems a bit odd the Knicks would play him considering his injury history. He's a must-add even in shallow leagues and could be a poor man's J-Smoove.

10/31/2010 9:13:00 AM
Description: Anthony Randolph will practice with the Knicks on Monday. SOURCE: New York Post
Insight: Some neophyte owners might have cut Randolph loose, but like JaVale McGee, Randolph needs to be owned for his blocking capabilities.

10/26/2010 7:03:00 PM
Description: He will not play in Wednesday's opener for the Knicks even though the X-ray's on his ankle came back negative.
Insight: It doesn't sound severe enough keep him sidelined very long, but keep in mind that this is the same ankle that shut Randolph down last year. (RapidDraft.com)

10/22/2010 9:23:00 PM
Description: Anthony Randolph missed all of his shots from the floor (0-of-5), turned the ball over four times, and finished with three points, six boards, and three blocks.
Insight: Randolph has lost a bit of his sleeper allure with a sub-par preseason. He is still capable of big-time numbers, but he has to get minutes and stay healthy. Fantasy owners were reaching for him in the 50-to-60 range, so maybe now he can be a nice value pick in the 70-to-80 range.

10/5/2010 1:28:00 PM
Description: Mike D'Antoni said he could be using a three-man rotation at the center spot. SOURCE:New York Post
Insight: Anthony Randolph could get minutes at the four while Amare needs a breather or gets into foul trouble. D'Antoni has grown fond of Russian center Timofey Mozgov and has probably moved ahead of Ronny Turiaf for fantasy value.

10/1/2010 1:05:00 PM
Description: Initial reports from New York speculated that Randolph would start at small forward for the knicks this season, but now there's a decent chance he will start at center for Mike D'Antoni.
Insight: With Eddy Curry out of the picture, Ronny Turiaf not "excelling", and the inexperienced Russian rookie Timofey Mozgov not likely to get many minutes, it seems as if Randolph would win the starting gig by default. Even if he does come off the bench, he's likely to see plenty of minutes and have a nice impact in fantasy leagues. (RapidDraft.com)

10/1/2010 10:42:00 AM
Description: Anthony Randolph could become New York's starting center this year. SOURCE: New York Post
Insight: He should already be center-eligible in most leagues, but moving to the center spot would speak volumes on how the Knicks plan to relentlessly run the basketball. Randolph is a huge sleeper again this year and should have an enormous year. Can he stay healthy though?

9/19/2010 9:05:00 AM
Description: Randolph is one of five players who may break out, according to the Bleacher Report.
Insight: Randolph was a summer league star in 2009, but has not been healthy enough to be much of a factor for the Warriors. Now on the Knicks, he may get more opportunities in the Mike D'Antoni offense. (RapidDraft.com)

9/3/2010 12:09:00 PM
Description: The New York Knicks have reportedly rejected Portland's deal of Rudy Fernandez for Anthony Randolph. SOURCE: NY Daily News
Insight: The Blazers are asking for a first-round pick and the Knicks won't have one until 2014 at this point. It wouldn't make much sense for the Knicks to deal Randolph since their projected lineup of Felton, Gallinari, Randolph, Stoudemire, and Turiaf seems more formidable than without the former LSU star. Like last year, Randolph could have a big season, but there is considerable risk involved.
